Value Stream Leader - Spare Parts

The Value Stream Leader is the cross-functional expert of the assigned product line and is responsible for all the types of orders related to the spare parts.

Responsibilities

The Value Stream Leader drives the following activities:

  • Running periodically the VS demand analysis, volumes and variability, reviewing the result against capacity, planning and coordinating actions to remove constraints and balance resources;
  • Issuing, together with all the Departments, the current state value stream map;
  • Collaborating with the Functional Leaders in order to identify problems and challenges and implement countermeasures and solutions;
  • Preparing a 3-5y future state map, aligned to the Product Manager strategy, applying lean techniques to eliminate waste and improve process value in the short to mid-term;
  • Managing the plan to achieve the future state;
  • Preparing an ideal state map;
  • Installing and developing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings within the value stream team to ensure that commitments are achieved while KPI improvements are being made;
  • Receives the project planning from the Order Management team and ensures that execution occurs according to defined milestones by coordinating cross functional resources to achieve results;
  • Is involved in the Customer claims and support the root causes analysis and countermeasures;
  • Reviewing with others VS Leader if the assigned VS has impact on another VS;
  • Conduct Lean audits;

Qualifications

  • Engineering or Economics Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience;
  • 3+ years experience, organizing and driving small teams;
  • 5+ years experience in production/manufacturing contexts;
