We are looking for an ambitious:
Service Center Project Manager, Central/Southern Europe, Middle-East, India
Your responsibilities as Service Center Project Manager:
- Project Management of the on-site service activities (installation, commissioning, retrofits, warranty calls, and service contracts) in the sub-region;
- Key contact for Cavotec Sales Centers and customers during warranty period;
- Plan, organize and direct the completion of in-house repairs and remanufacturing activities, ensuring these projects are on time, on budget and within scope;
- Support to the service centre manager for the preparation tendering documentation;
How are you concretely going to do it?
- Draft sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements, within the sub-region;
- Manage the on-site contractual activities of the project own and subcontracted resources;
- Support the service centre manager for any in-house repairs and remanufacturing activities – resources and tooling, ensure the proper logistic and specialized equipment is available when needed;
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders and Centers of Excellences in all requirements related to in-house repairs, remanufacturing and refurbishment;
- Regularly define and update the on-site work schedule and budget;
- Communicate and coordinate regularly with the customer on progress;
- Provide sales and services to customers, answering to customer inquiries, needs and requirements;
- Collect, resolve and close with the customer all punch list items and warranty claims;
- Communicate to personnel about on-site environmental constraints and safety measures;
- Understand and leverage the contract between our customer and Cavotec and apply professional principle of management;
- Report on project main KPIs : quality, on-time delivery, cost, safety;
- Use the return on experience from executed projects in the region, support the Service Centre Manager for the preparation of the costing and tendering documentation;
- Proposes appropriate service agreement to meet usage, operating environment, duty classification, manufacturer’s recommendations local regulations and secures retention of customer;
- Collaborates with local Sales Centers to ensure a successful customer experience and proper delivery of the service agreement;
- Works closely with Center of Excellences to improve customer agreement retention, overall customer relationships, scope of services delivered, and overall profitability and efficiency;
- Support the Service Centre Manager on the dispatching of field service engineers and technicians;
- Support the Service Centre Manager to identify new sales opportunities with existing customers;
- Develop fair, transparent and result driven relationships with customers to facilitate business delivery;
In this position you report directly to the Service Center Manager, Central/Southern Europe, Middle-East, India.
What will you bring?
The ideal candidate has at least an Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics) and a solid experience in project management, operational planning, budgeting, cost management, local or international contract negotiation, and subcontracting. He or she is knowledgeable about maintaining. He or she has a proven managerial experience, is used to dealing with customers. He or she has cultural sensitivity, demonstrates excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
He or she fluently speaks English and is willing to travel occasionally.
