The Value Stream Leader is the cross-functional expert of the assigned product line and is responsible for all the types of orders related to the specific product line.

Responsibilities

The Value Stream Leader drives the following activities:

  • Running periodically the VS demand analysis, volumes and variability, reviewing the result against capacity, planning and coordinating actions to remove constraints and balance resources;
  • Issuing, together with all the Departments, the current state value stream map;
    Collaborating with the Functional Leaders in order to identify problems and challenges and implement countermeasures and solutions;
    Preparing a 3-5y future state map, aligned to the Product Manager strategy, applying lean techniques to eliminate waste and improve process value in the short to mid-term;
    Managing the plan to achieve the future state;
    Preparing an ideal state map;
    Installing and developing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings within the value stream team to ensure that commitments are achieved while KPI improvements are being made;
    Receives the project planning from the Project Manager and ensures that execution occurs according to defined milestones by coordinating cross functional resources to achieve results;
    Is involved in the Customer claims and support the root causes analysis and countermeasures;
    Reviewing with others VS Leader if the assigned VS has impact on another VS;
    Conduct Lean audits;
    Support the Project Manager during the handover from FAT to the Site Manger;
    Qualifications

Engineering or Economics Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience;
3+ years experience, organizing and driving small teams;
5+ years experience in production/manufacturing contexts;
