We are looking for a junior Field Service Technician to strenghten Cavotec’s Nordic service team.
As a Field Service Technician you’ll be working in a dynamic environment with colleagues around the world, solving complex problems and providing professional service and support for our customers. Your tasks might include simple servicing, start up commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing and implementing upgrades to Cavotec products. You will work in close contact with our customers providing both on-site and telephone support.
The job requires extensive travelling, mainly within Scandinavia but occasionally worldwide. Currently the estimated number of travel days per year is >150.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has already some hands-on experience on maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment and a relevant educational background in technology (eg. mechanical/automation engineer or technician). You can be a recent graduate, we are happy to help you grow!
As you will be working daily basis at our customers’ site, we expect you to have good social skills and a customer oriented approach with solution-oriented attitude. You are flexible and can work also independently. To succeed in the position fluent English language skills (both written and spoken) are needed. Knowledge of other Scandinavian languages (Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish) is seen as an advantage. We would be thrilled if you had some previous experience in the maritime industry!
The ideal starting date for this position would be as soon as possible, preferably mid-August.
